Company Products

The Universal Robotic Controller 3™ (URC3™) is the software and hardware-control system that operates a robot. It includes a Pentium™-based PC running Microsoft® Windows, RobotScript ® and dedicated processors that interface with robot motion mechanisms for real-time motion control of the robot.

RobotScript® and other software define the parameters of the robot’s task, coordinate input and output to and from auxiliary devices such parts, feeders, conveyors, tracks, the power train in mobile robots, and can communicate to other PC devices via a network or the Internet. The URC3 can control multiple 6-axis robots and integrated devices.

The Universal Automation Controller™ (UAC™), which is in the later stages of development, is a general-purpose motion-control system for automated machines with less than 6-axis of movement. The UAC provides the power of a full-featured motion controller and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) in one easy to use PC control system. The UAC provides standard communications and interface ports, providing maximum flexibility in choosing off-the shelf user interface and communications components. RobotScript is also used to program this controller.

RobotScript® is a universal programming language based on Microsoft's .NET Framework, and can be used in a variety of development languages including Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft Visual C++. It provides a natural robot language programming environment that is intuitive, simple to use and easy to learn. Robotic programmers can easily control robot motion, coordinate input and output for auxiliary equipment, and communicate with other PCs. Challenges common to proprietary control schemes are eliminated. RobotScript can access anything on the operating system or network as well as utilize the Internet for remote monitoring and control of equipment.

RobotScript can also be easily used to create custom applications specific to customer needs. A software development kit (SDK) is provided to enable even novice developers to create a specialized interface quickly for a particular use in meeting a customer's needs.
